Payment processing

Payments are processed through QuickBooks Payments (Intuit Inc.). When you pay an invoice, you are directed to Intuit's secure payment platform. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers. Intuit's privacy policy applies to payment transactions.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses:

• Session cookies — required for client portal login and form security (CSRF protection). These expire when you close your browser.
• Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise — used on contact and quote forms to detect automated spam submissions. Google's privacy policy applies to reCAPTCHA data.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile individual users.

Data security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Passwords are stored as one-way bcrypt hashes and are never stored or transmitted in plain text. Order documents are stored outside the public web directory and are accessible only to authenticated account holders.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no internet transmission is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your portal account.

Data retention

We retain business records including order details, invoices, and correspondence for a minimum of seven years as required for commercial and tax compliance. Client portal accounts that have been inactive for more than three years may be archived or deleted upon request.

Your rights — Canadian customers (PIPEDA)

If you are located in Canada, you have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) including the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
